3. When you know all the band booster officers' home and work phone numbers and e-mail
4. When you can name all the major band fundraisers
5. When you look forward to the next fundraiser
6. When the 2 minute warning at a football game takes on a whole other meaning
7. When you know the details of the band budget better than that of your family's
8. When you start to think of the kids in the band as yours
9. When you realize that after next year you will not have a child in the band and you're seriously considering adoption
10. When you actually want to volunteer
