UA Men's Basketball Concessions |

Sign up to work the basketball games and earn IMF money! RUMBA needs 6 workers
per game to work in the concessions stand down by the locker room. Anyone 16 or
older can work in the name of any band student and earn $6.75 per hour toward
Individual Merit Fund accounts. Money in these accounts can be used for music
lessons, instrument expenses, band trips and anything else approved by the band
director.

to sign up for one or more games. You need to give them a copy of your driver's
license or birth certificate to get on the UA list. Do this now, even if the
game you are going to work is not until March!
We have parking passes for game days. On game day, you check in at the table on
the west side of McKale Center 2 hours before game time and show your ID. Then
you report to the concession stand, sign in and get to work! A UA person is in
charge of the stand. Our people do cashiering, make nachos, fill sodas, make
popcorn and do clean-up. A shift usually is 4 to 41/2 hours. Sometimes the
hours can be adjusted--just let us know if you would need to leave early or
arrive late.
This is a wonderful fund-raising opportunity for our group. Students have paid
for trips in the past by working several games and getting other family and
friends to work, too! We want people who need to raise funds to be able to do
so, especially for out-of-town trips and band camps. We must be able to send 6
workers each game to keep this opportunity open. Therefore, if you don't need
IMF money, but have the time to work a game, we still need you! You can keep
this opportunity open for others by donating your time.
